Industrial Paper Shredders

One of the more popular accessories for high volume industrial shredders is a preshredder, which usually consists of a hopper, a preshredder and a conveyor, which conveys the preshredded paper to the top of the main shredding unit.  The preshredder attachment provides a consistent and continuous flow of paper to the shredder, which helps speed up the shredding process, and frees up the operator.

Another option is the paper shredder bailer, which takes the shredded paper at the discharge of the unit and creates paper bails that are easy to dispose.  In addition to the ease of disposal, the bailer further acts to automate the extraction of the paper at the discharge of the unit, and thus further frees the operator from continually removing paper from the machine.

A further option is a dust extractor, which is can reduce the large amounts of dust that forms when paper is shred.  The finer that the paper is shred, the more dust particles are created.  Extremely fine crosscut shredders create not only small confetti, they also create large amounts of dust.  The dust can be extracted from the unit, which is especially important where industrial paper shredders will be installed near other machinery, or in the midst of other plant of business operations.  Without the dust unit, the dust particles will quickly for a film around the entire work area.
